  • Early flight from Beijing to Hangzhou

  • Sightseeing at Linyin Temple(灵隐寺)
  • Lingyin Temple: Located at the foot of the Lingyin Hill northwest of the city, Temple of Inspired Seclusion (Lingyin Temple) was built in the Eastern Jin dynasty (317-420). The 33.6-metre-high main hall (Sakyamuni Hall) is a masterpiece of ancient buildings with one story and doubled eaves. The two nine-storied octagonal pagodas in front of the main hall and the two stone towers containing the Buddhist sutras in front of the Lokapala Hall were all built in the Five dynasties (907-960).

  • Sightseeing at the Feilai Peak(飞来峰)
  • Feilai Peak: which is 209 meters, a pure limestone mountain that is very distinctive from the sandstone mountains around it. Large stones scattered along the peak are said to resemble animals like a flying dragon, a running elephant, a crouching tiger, and a fleeing monkey.

  • Sightseeing at the Pagoda of Six Harmonies. (六和塔)
  • The Six Harmonies Pagoda is located on Yuelun Hill, is one of the true masterpieces of ancient Chinese architectures. The name 'Liuhe' comes from the six Buddhist ordinances and it is said that the reason for building this pagoda is to calm the tidal waters of the Qiantang River, and as a navigational aid.

  • Sightseeing at the Tomb of General Yue Fei.(岳飞墓)
  • The Tomb of General Yue Fei has been demolished and renovated several times. The existing one was rebuilt in 1715 in the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911) and comprehensively repaired in 1979.
    Yue Fei (1103 - 1141) came from Tangyin in Xiangzhou of today's Henan Province. He was a great general famous for wars against the Jin Dynasty (1115 - 1234) in the Song Dynasty (960 - 1279).

  • Boat on the West Lake.(船游西湖).
  • West Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou as well as one of the most beautiful sights in China. Early in the Song dynasty, the famous poet Su Shi compared the lake to Xizi, So the Lake is also known as Xizi Lake.
    Cruising on West Lake, visitors are sure to revel in its charm. West Lake, like a landscape painting, will cause you to marvel at its beauty and will perhaps make you feel as though you have stepped into a land of magic and fantasy.

  • Sightseeing at Zhejing Provincial Museum(浙江省博物馆)
  • Zhejing Provincial Museum, Founded in 1929 and originally known as the West Lake Museum, the Zhejiang Provincial Museum is one of the oldest and best-known museums in China. It is on the northern banks of the picturesque West Lake in Hangzhou, at the southern foot of Gushan Mountain.

  • Hangzhou Botanical Gardens: Covering an area of about 230 hectares, the Hangzhou Botanical Garden can be found at the foot of Jade Spring Hill in the northwest end of West Lake. It was originally built in 1965, and is not only a park in which to feast your eyes on beautiful plants, but also a research base where fields such as the cultivation of plants and protection of environment are studied.
